Mount Baker Orchid Society is a group of enthusiastic orchid growers with all levels of experience, from those who just bought their first orchid to accredited judges in the American Orchid Society with decades of growing experience.
We love to share our knowledge, experience and zest for orchids with each other and with newcomers. Our goal is to educate our members and the public about the culture, development and conservation of orchids.
Our members are found from Seattle, WA to Vancouver, British Columbia and many points in between. We meet most months of the year on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center in Mt. Vernon. In July or August we have our annual picnic and orchid auction. In December we celebrate the holidays with a dinner and orchid-themed gift exchange.
Mount Baker Orchid Society is affiliated with the American Orchid Society and with Orchid Digest.
